About the Whiting 29
The Whiting 29 was designed by Paul Whiting of Whiting Yachts. Over 50 Whiting 29 yachts were produced between 1979 and 1990. See Whiting 29 Boat Register.
They were designed and manufactured in two variants – racing version with a fractional rig and the cruising version with a masthead rig. Specifications are as follows:
