Stinger

The yacht Stinger was a pioneering 1974 half-ton sailing-boat design by Paul Whiting. Launched just in time for the 1974 Auckland-to-Gisborne ocean race, it successfully won the competition, establishing Whiting’s reputation for fast, lightweight, and efficient offshore yacht designs.
